Who is sydneyunicorns?
Sydney Angel aka sydneyunicorns is a Los Angeles-based songwriter, producer, and artist who blends genre-bending pop with experimental soundscapes. Her music often fuses ethereal vocal layering and catchy, interesting melodies with powerful production, and multifaceted vocals with lyrics that balance darkness, light, rebellion, and vulnerability. She is always evolving and experimenting while staying true to her voice, vision, & sound.
In sessions as a producer and songwriter, Sydney brings a sense of whimsy and an experimental nature. She creates a safe, curious, vulnerable space that thrives on connection, trust, and kindness. Her goal is always to make music together that cuts to the core of the artist’s sound and story. Her gift is alchemy.
She has released songs with Sofya Wang and BECCA, and has been in the studio writing and producing with amazing talents like VREDEN, Deanna Dilandro, 2Fawnz, Van Seco, Tomine Harket, Nicky Ryder, Iz Divine, Travis Bacon, Leo Forest, Noah Davis, Kate Brunotts, Lauren Christy, Skyler Cocco, Colby LaPolla, Noelle Harlow, Colby Keyz, Plunki, and others.
In addition to writing, Sydney hosts backyard concerts at her home, and is passionate about fostering and uplifting queer, minority and gender expansive artists and producers.
She lives in LA with her husband, Randy, and their pug, Nemo, where she has a very fun and inviting music studio, complete with giant unicorn stuffed animal (obviously).
